This was early Sunday morning.

This is right behind our building. That brown thing is a picnic table.

A closer pic of the picnic table later Sunday afternoon. The water had raised a little bit more. If youre wondering, NO I didnt get in the water for these. Theres a place in between apartments that was above the water.

Theres the playground! Wont be going there anymore!
If you can believe it the water did rise even more but I didnt take any more photos. Our building kind of became an island though the water on one side was just a few inches but the water did reach all the way around our building including flooding the other half of the parking lot. This is what happens when it rains nonstop for an entire weekend in TN.
That's kinda scary! Glad you and your family are okay :) I have a cousin who lives in Nashville, but haven't heard if he was affected by the flooding.
ReplyDeleteStumbled into yur blog. So sorry for the destruction. I feel your pain. I live in MA. we too had incredible floods this Spring. Sending sunshine your way.
