Remembering Pearl Harbor

Today is the 70th anniversary of the bombimg of Pearl Harbor. The surprise attack in 1941 killed more than 2,400 Americans and damaged eight of the Hawaiian naval base's battleships. Ive always wanted to go to Pearl Harbor and pay my respects to those who lost their lives that day.

If we're ever lucky enough to be stationed in Hawaii for the Army I intend to do just that.

Missed Aniversary + Something New

I was so busy being miserable about Valentines Day approaching that I completely missed the 1 yr anniversary of my beloved blog on the 10th. It came to me while I was contemplating my daughters 1st birthday thats coming up soon, and I realized I had blogged about her birth. *Memories*
Now onto the something new. I decided it might be fun to do posts on things I love. I love sharing things Im passionate about and I would love to hear what others adore through comments. What do you think? Fun or blah? Im not doing the ever so popular day of the week post. Mainly because I dont want to feel obligated to post something. Blogging should be fun.
